IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Indonesia Chapter which was originally part of IEEE Communications Society Indonesia Chapter. On September 13, 2016 in the opening ceremony of the joint conference between IEEE International Conference on Control, Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Communication (ICCEREC) and IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Wireless on Mobile (APWiMob) the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Indonesia Chapter was launched. The first elected Chair of IEEE SPS Indonesia Chapter was Dr-.Ing. Fiky Y. Suratman who is also the Chair of the Masters Program in Electrical-Telecommunication Engineering at Telkom University. IEEE SPS Indonesia Chapter has organized many technical activities such as :

• 2. 2018 IEEE International Conference on Signals and Systems (ICSigSys 2018);
• 3. 2019 IEEE International Conference on Signals and Systems (ICSigSys 2019)

• 1. 2019 International Conference on Computer Science, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering (ICOMITEE 2019);
• 2. 2022 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT 2022)

c. 2019 Summer School collaboration with the School of Electrical Engineering Telkom University.
